Job Description

A compelling opportunity in the Chicago metro area! A leading healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to streamline their infrastructure and deployment processes. You’ll work out of their downtown Chicago office with the DevOps team to modernize their infrastructure and ensure smooth software delivery across their platforms.

Tech Stack: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda), HashiCorp Vault, Packer, Kafka, RabbitMQ
Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of DevOps experience.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Advanced skills with AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, IAM, S3, CloudFront)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Packer for infrastructure automation
  • Proficient in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines
  • Securely manage infrastructure secrets with Vault
  • Oversee the infrastructure for high-traffic, regulated platforms
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in real time with Prometheus and Grafana

Salary: $150,000 – $170,000/year
