Job Description

A fantastic opportunity in Austin! A growing e-commerce startup is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to assist in maintaining and automating their cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers on projects, while gaining hands-on experience with modern tools and technologies.

Tech Stack: CircleCI, AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Vault, Redis, Memcached, Fluentd
Required Skills:

  • 1-2 years of DevOps experience, preferably in a startup
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage and automate AWS Lambda infrastructure
  • Work on CI/CD pipeline optimization using CircleCI
  • Implement caching strategies with Redis and Memcached
  • Secure cloud operations using Vault for secrets management

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000/year
