Job Description

A leading e-commerce platform based in Austin is seeking a Python Developer for a fully remote position. You’ll be responsible for developing scalable backend systems and integrating third-party APIs using Python, Flask, and FastAPI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build features that enhance the platform’s performance and scalability.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Python developer who enjoys working with modern technologies and solving complex problems in a collaborative, fully remote environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Python development
  • Proficiency in Flask, FastAPI, or Django frameworks
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend systems and services using Python and Flask
  • Integrate third-party APIs and build RESTful APIs for the platform
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
  • Debug and optimize backend services for performance and scalability

Salary: $140,000 – $160,000
